Unexplainable Zombie Behaviour .

Zombies KEEP all sorts of things for no reason. One of them are rubber bands. If a zombie gets his mail bundled up with a rubber band, the zombie will keep the rubber band. It will be placed where all rubber bands go. To a drawer where the rest of them live. They will stay there until one day they just dry-up and die.

If the rubber band is found on the ground, with the groceries, etc etc... the fate will be the same. Why?

Why can't we just throw them away?...is not that they are soo expensive or useful (and please don't say that keeping rubber bands makes you greener because I will laugh at you so hard)
